Office of Global Engagement

The Office of Global Engagement

The Office of Global Engagement advises and accompanies the students and employees of the university in planning and carrying out their stays abroad (e.g. studies, internships, thesis as well as teaching visits and professional development) and awards grants for this. Foreign exchange students are advised and supported in the planning and implementation of their stay at the university. The “Be my BHT Buddy” program helps exchange students to find their way around the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology and the city of Berlin.

The Office of Global Engagement also advises the university staff on the financing, planning and implementation of international projects and is the point of contact for all questions relating to the internationalization of studies and teaching.  To this end, Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology cooperates with more than 140 partner universities abroad and takes part in programs such as Erasmus +, the DAAD and other third-party funding providers. Reach out to us if you have any questions and we are happy to assist you.

Internationalisation

The Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology contributes to intercultural encounters through internationalization. This orientation of studies, teaching and research strengthens the competitiveness and reputation of BHT and its partners.

Erasmus+

BHT is actively involved in the European Union's Erasmus+ programme for education, youth and sport.

Within this framework, it supports the mobility of students, teachers and staff with European partners in the so-called "programme countries" and in selected non-European "partner countries".
