LunchTalk: WWII Mass Graves in Neukoelln: A Study in Architecture and Visualization

LunchTalks are 30-minute events offered three times a semester during Wednesday lunch breaks, thus enabling everyone to attend. Presentations last 15-20 minutes with additional time for discussions. WWII Mass Graves in Neukoelln: A Study in Architecture and Visualization

Although most everyone is well aware of the millions of deaths brought about by Nazi tyranny, practically no-one today knows that mass graves exist right here in Neukoelln. A current media project led by filmmaker and director Tim van Beveren, famous for his documentaries about current dangers of flying with commercial airlines, raises awareness of the past through masterful photography to reflect on our responsibilities for the present social and political events of our day.
