Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin the university is one of Germany‘s largest state universities of applied sciences.

Beuth University was founded in 1971 as the Technische Fachhochschule Berlin (TFH) when several engineering academies were merged.  As of 1 October 2021, Beuth University of Applied Sciences will be called Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT) (subject to the approval of the Senate Chancellery - Science and Research).
